Biography

Ying Cui received her B.E. degree in Electronic and Information Engineering from Xi'an Jiao Tong University, China, in 2007 and her Ph.D. degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), Hong Kong, in 2011. From January 2011 to July 2011, she was a Visiting Assistant in Research in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Yale University, US. From March 2012 to June 2012, she was a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Electronic Engineering at Macquarie University, Australia. From June 2012 to June 2013, she was a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Northeastern University, US. From July 2013 to December 2014, she was a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), US. Since January 2015, she has been with the Department of Electronic Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. She was selected into China's 1000Plan Program for Young Talents in 2013. She was the recipient of IEEE ICC best paper award in 2015.
