Biography
     Dr. Zou was born in Jiangxi province, China, on Jan., 1981. He received the B.S. degree in physics (major) and applied electronics (minor) both from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 2002. He was recommended as a master student without mandatory entrance examination in Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2002, and received the M.S. in optics in 2005. During his master-study period, he visited The University of Electro-Communications, Japan, as an exchange student from Apr. 2003 to Mar. 2004. He started the Ph.D. study in The University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan, in Apr. 2005, and received the Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering from The University of Tokyo, in Mar. 2008.
    He was a post-doctoral Research Fellow in The University of Tokyo from Apr. 2008 to Aug. 2009, and became a Project Assistant Professor in The University of Tokyo from Aug. 2009 to Mar. 2010. Since Mar. 2010, he joined Dept. of Electronic Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University as an Associate Professor.
    His current research interests include fiber-optic sensors, fiber-optic measurement, and optical signal processing and all-optical radar. He has published more than 30 peer-reviewed international journal papers (H-index=11) and more than 30 peer-reviewed international conference papers till the end of 2012. Dr. Zou is a Member of Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and Optical Society of America (OSA).? He has served as a reviewer for OSA Optics Letters, OSA Optics Express, OSA Applied Optics, IEEE Photonics Technology Letters, IEEE/OSA Journal Lightwave Technology, Optics Communications etc.
