Biography

Chenglin Li is currently a Tenure-Track Associate Professor with the Department of Electronic Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

 

He received the B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electronic Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 2007, 2009 and 2015, respectively. From 2011 to 2013, he was with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at University of Florida, Gainesville, FL, USA, as a visiting Ph.D. student. Between 2015 and 2017, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Signal Processing Laboratory (LTS4) at Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL), Lausanne, Switzerland. From 2017 to 2018, he was a Senior Researcher in the Chair of Media Technology (LMT) at Technical University of Munich (TUM), Munich, Germany.

 

His research interests include network oriented image/video processing and communication, network based optimization for videos, adaptive multimedia communication systems, and caching and edge computing for multimedia delivery. He was awarded Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA) Fellow in 2011, received the IEEE VCIP Best 10% Paper Award in 2016, awarded Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellow in 2017 and Shanghai Rising-Star in 2020.
