蒋乐天1997年和2000年分获西安电子科技大学学士学位和硕士学位。2003年7月毕业于上海交通大学，获电路与系统专业博士学位。现为上海交通大学电子工程系教师，副教授。

除从事《模拟电子技术》，《逻辑电路CAT》和《嵌入式系统与结构》教学工作以外，主要从事系统可靠性和可用性的研究。从2000年开始与Motorola全球软件中心（芝加哥）合作进行通信系统和软件系统的高可靠性技术研究，2004年开始与英特尔公司合作从事嵌入式系统科研工作。曾获上海交通大学教学成果特等奖和一等奖，2009年获上海市教学成果一等奖。2006年编译出版了《微电子电路（第五版）》（电子工业出版社）一书，2007年编译出版了《工程电路分析》（电子工业出版社）一书。在国内、国际期刊上发表论文40余篇。

参与组织了2004年、2006年、2008年和2010年大学生电子设计竞赛嵌入式系统专题邀请赛，任组委会副秘书长。参与组织了2003年、2005年和2007年和2009年全国大学生电子设计竞赛上海赛区的竞赛，任上海赛区组委会秘书长。现为中国电子教育学会高等教育分会常务理事，副秘书长。
