实验课程


这是一门实验实践课程,着重于引导学生运用数学和计算机软件算法基础知识,研究分析工程实际问题案例,并借助现代工程软件工具,设计针对这些复杂工程问题的解决方案。

例如,统计推断和统计试验(蒙特卡洛)都是重要的数学方法,广泛应用于工程科技领域。在本课程的一个案例中,要求学生应用统计推断方法相关的数学建模手段,研究和标定一个测量装置。再如,在另一个案例中,学生要基于蒙特卡洛方法设计计算机代码,对一个真实世界的通信系统做仿真模拟研究,评价它的可靠性,设法优化设计,提高它的长期连续运行的稳定性。

学生应具有工程数学的基础知识,比如概率论与数理统计学。要求学生自学MATLAB等工具软件的程序设计和使用方法。

课程任务案例的课题研究和实验工作,均采取一人一组。


This is a case-study laboratory practice course, which is focused on improving students’ capabilities to employ mathematical methods to solve some problems in electronic engineering field.

For instance, statistical inference and statistical trial (Monte Carlo) techniques are important mathematical methods, which have been applied widely in engineering technology. In a course case the students are required to study and calibrate a measurement equipment by mathematical modeling relating to statistical inference. In another case they design their own source codes based on Monte-Carlo techniques to simulate a real-world communication system and assess its reliability, and finally manage to optimize its performance of long-term stable operation.

Some knowledge of Engineering Mathematics, especially Probability and Mathematical Statistics is supposed be a prerequisite. In addition, most of the simulations will be done on MATLAB or other professional tool software packages, which needs students’ self-study.

Each student is required to implement their case-study projects by himself.
